The narcissus
Next to the fact that a Narcissus is a great gift for International Women’s Day, it is also a flowering plant, which is often associated with the beginning of spring. You maybe wouldn’t expect it, but the Narcissus comes with a wide range of colors, because in addition to the classic yellow narcissus, there are varieties that flower in white, pink and orange. Not only the colors, but also the types vary. We all know the characteristic yellow trumpets, but they also come in raceme flowers or luxuriant double flowers: the collection is enormously diverse. There are varieties which flower low to the ground and giants which easily reach 60 cm. Something for everyone!

Care tips for your customer
Narcissus grow and flower best in a light, cool spot.
The bulbs and flowers need a lot of water, so do not let the clod dry out.
The more water they get, the taller they will grow.
Turn the Narcissus in pots a little every now and then to prevent them from growing crooked.
By cutting away spent flowers, the bulb keeps more energy for the rest of the plant and the buds.
Exhausted bulbs can be returned to the garden.
The hyacinth
Another beautiful bulbous plant that cannot be missed in your assortment before spring starts is the hyacinth. The bulb of the hyacinth is particularly large with several long, thick leaves with a rounded tip growing from the bulb. During flowering, a stem grows out of the middle, full of pink, purple, white, yellow or red flowers. These flower buds are called nails and up to 50 nails can be found on one stalk. In-house, hyacinths can bloom all year round, but they are originally a real spring bloomer that makes the world a little more colorful from March to May.
